Artist Cherie-Christine Curchod's cottage Le Haven, Coasters Retreat sells

Botanical artist Cherie-Christine Curchod and partner Rob Curchod have sold their water access only Pittwater retreat, Le Haven.

Listed for sale with an asking price of $1.2 million, it fetched $1.15 million when bought by environmental scientist, Dr Marcus Lincoln-Smith.

The 1950s cottage at Coasters Retreat was last traded in 2006 for $1.04 million.

With its French provincial style, the two bedroom cottage featured in the November 2011 issue of Country Style magazine.

The 700 square metres property had been listed through Kathryn Hall of Kathryn Hall Real Estate

They have bought at Palm Beach for $1.07 million, buying a property initially listed in late 2011 with $1.8 million hopes.
