The Turramurra property Linwood, designed in 1929 by architect Hugh Venables Vernon, has been sold.

It sold pre-auction for an undisclosed price having had $2.5 million hopes through Belle Property Pymble's Lesley Bassam.

The 1,739 square metre property Womerah Street property last traded in 1996 for $910,000 when it was bought by Lissa and Nicholas Swan, the former director of Peppers Hotel Group and now company secretary of mining services company AJ Lucas Group.
