National clearance rate sits in the 60s: RP Data capital city auction statistics

Sydney's weekly clearance rate sits comfortably in the high 60s, slightly above Melbourne's success rate, according to the latest RP Data weekly report.

The above results are preliminary, with ‘final’ auction clearance rates published each Thursday.

RP Data, on average, collects between 80% and 85% of auction results each week. Clearance rates are calculated across properties that have been taken to auction over the past week.
