Auction tipping: No parking in the bluest of blue-chip Kirribilli locations

A Kirribilli unit with no car parking will test the blue-chip locale this weekend.

There’s a website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess what they think properties will sell for at their weekend auctions in Melbourne and Sydney. This season Property Observer readers have their own competition, which you can access here. The winner of the overall competition will win $1,000.

In Sydney the only potential hiccup for 4/75 Kirribilli Avenue, Kirribilli, is the lack of car parking. However agent Catherine O'Neill from Laing & Simmons is not too concerned about the car parking as there is no need in this bluest of blue-chip locations.

The one-bedroom apartment occupies prime Sydney Harbour waterfront land and is only a short walk to Kirribilli village, Milsons Point train station and ferry. The new owner will have plenty of houseguests this New Year’s Eve with prime firework viewing position.

The deceased estate has attracted strong interest from buyers with more than $450,000 to spend.
