Sydney auction tipping

A tightly held Victorian terrace is set to test the Camperdown market this weekend.

For those who want to have a harmless punt, there's now a tipping website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess auction five results in Melbourne and Sydney, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.

One of the five Sydney properties in week three of the competition is 9 Gilpin Street, Camperdown, a tightly held double-storey Victorian terrace.

According to RP Data it was last transacted in 1983 when it sold for the princely sum of $65,000. Raine and Horne agent Michael Harris is expecting more than $1 million this time around.

These solid brick properties can often be tricky to renovate, but all of the structural work has been done on this one with the back of the house opening up into a great space.

If you think you know what it will sell for place a tip at Property Tycoon.
