Sydney auction tipping

Buyers who want a Clovelly apartment going to auction this weekend could have some stiff competition.

For those who want to have a harmless punt, there's now a tipping website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess auction five results in Melbourne and Sydney, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.

One of the Sydney properties going to auction this weekend in round two of the competition is 3/10 Ocean Street, Clovelly.

In Sydney agent Di Baker from McGrath Real Estate has indicated strong interest in the property. Six contracts have been handed out to buyers who want to secure the two-bedroom apartment with breathtaking ocean views.

According to RP Data the property last changed hands in 1994 when it sold for $200,000. The concern for buyers is: if they don’t secure the property this time, how long will it be before the opportunity comes around again?

Buyers will need to have over $1 million up their sleeves if they want to get a whiff of the ocean breeze.

If you think you know what it will sell for place a tip at Property Tycoon.
