Sydney auction tipping

There's now a tipping website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess auction five results in Melbourne and Sydney, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.

One of the five Sydney properties going to auction this week in round seven (last week the competition was temporarily suspended due to the Easter holidays) is 77 Annandale Street, Annandale, which is being auctioned by Pilcher Residential.

"The property, in one of Annandale’s highly desirable tree-lined streets, is within walking distance of the village," says Mark Armstrong of Property Tycoon.

"It has four bedrooms, and the open-plan kitchen/living area opens onto a good-sized rear garden."

"The agent expects bids to start at $1.3 million."
