Sydney auction tipping

There's now a tipping website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess auction five results in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.

One of the five Sydney properties going to auction this week in round five is 1/95 Wycombe Road, Neutral Bay, which will be auctioned by McGrath.

Mark Armstrong of Property Tycoon says it is "an apartment with house-like proportions comprising of three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two parking spaces. The older-style apartment sits on the top floor of and has stunning views of the harbour".

"It was last transacted in 2000, when it sold for $1.15 million," he says.

"Agent Piers van Hamburg from McGrath Real Estate expects a sale of over $1.6 million this time around."
