Brisbane auction tipping

There's now a tipping website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess auction five results in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.

One of the five Brisbane properties going to auction this week in round four is 17 Pauline Street, Tarragindi, which is being auctioned by RE/MAX Colonial.

Brisbane properties did not fare well in the first two rounds of the competition, with four of the five failing to sell in each of the first two weeks, but last week's properties did significantly better, with four of the five getting over the line.

"In Brisbane's inner south a large seven-bedroom home goes under the hammer. The 17 Pauline Street, Tarragindi, property is a fine example of an inner-suburban Queenslander and comes with a swimming pool and impressive 810-square-metre block of land," says Mark Armstrong of Property Tycoon.

"It was last sold in 2001 for $332,000 but this sale will have little bearing on Saturday's result as the property was been fully renovated and restored in 2010. Comparable sales suggest a sale over $1 million is on the cards."

If you think you know what it will sell for place a tip at Property Tycoon.
