Sydney weekend auction tipping

There's now a tipping website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess auction five results in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.

One of the five Sydney properties going to auction in round two this week is 18/24a Musgrave Street, Mosman, being marketed by Belle Property.

"The Mosman property was last on the market in 1991 when it sold for $131,000," says Mark Armstrong of Property Tycoon, who goes on to say a bit wistfully, "If only we had bought it back then. This time around the agents are expecting it to sell for over $1.2 million."
