Brisbane weekend auction tipping

There's now a tipping website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess auction five results in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.

One of the five Brisbane properties in round two this week is 22 Archer Street, Gordon Park, being auctioned by Ray White. 

Noting last week's disappointing Brisbane auction results, Mark Armstrong of Property Tycoon says the property "is expected to buck the passed in trend and sell under the hammer on Saturday. Agents Ray White have indicated more than 60 groups have inspected the property and multiple offers have been put forward.

"The property was last sold in 1999 for $183,000, and comparable sales suggest a price of between $700,000 to $800,000 is on the cards this time around," Armstrong says.
