– Real estate agent Sam Kelso, who reckons agents between 20 and 35 have the enthusiasm and social chops to perform well in an industry where the median age is 40. Kelso, who is 22, is a member of Young Professionals in Real Estate, which represents younger agents. 

"It comes down to their ability to have fun and cut deals... And sometimes I can't even tell the difference," Kelso says.
