Southbank by Beulah to become Australia's tallest vertical village

Australian real estate developer, Beulah International, has gained approval from the Victorian State Government to develop their $2 billion Southbank by Beulah project.

The Green Spine building, set to become Australia’s tallest tower, will be composed of two towers, both with a twisting geometric class façade and terracing and has been conceived as a conceptual extension of the Southbank Boulevard.

Soaring to 365 metres and spanning 270,000sqm, the mixed-use precinct desires to become an unprecedented, globally recognised vertical village.

Southbank by Beulah was conceptualised alongside Dutch design firm UNStudio and local firm Cox Architecture — a refinement of their winning concept from the 2018 Southbank by Beulah global architecture competition.
 
The vertical village will comprise of four distinct collections of private residences, public and green spaces, including a five-star urban resort, world class experiential retail and commercial offices.

Other features include a rooftop sky garden, town hall, childcare centre, a health and wellness precinct and arts and culture spaces and programs.
