Hobart lead property listings surge in November: SQM

National residential property listings jumped over six percent in November, according to figures released by SQM Research.

They rose 6.3 per cent from 318,874 to 338,971.

Listings are still 6.3 per cent down on the same levels this time last year.

Darwin was the only capital not to experience a listing increase. Their listings are now over 12 per cent down over the year.

Listings in Hobart rose nearly 12 per cent, while Adelaide, Melbourne and Canberra all saw listings grow by over 10 per cent.

Canberra is the only capital with listings higher than the same time last year.

Sydney's listings went up by just over seven percent, and are over 19 per cent down on this time last year, the most across the country.
