Versace-loving vendors had mixed success at their weekend auctions.

Interior designer Jason Scott secured $1.045 million for his Zetland offering (pictured above) through Ray White agent Jack McGhee.

The bidding started at $900,000, before selling to a young first home buyer from Meadowbank.

The two-bedroom Joynton Ave unit cost $350,000 before its makeover into the “epitome of Versace” by Scott, who is now off to build at Richmond.

There was no Versace-styled sale sticker on another scheduled weekend auction listing at Casula. John and Debbie Tsikouris estimate they spent $380,000 on their Versace inclusions.

“It’s a show home — you either love it or you hate it,” John said during its marketing. “It has taken a lot of hard work … we will be sad to see it gone.

“My wife and I are Versace fanatics.”

LH Hooker listing agent Ilce Dimeski advised a $1.35 million pre-auction offer had been made, with negotiations continuing to secure the $1.55 million asking price.
