Wealthy Queensland Camm cattle family purchases historic Brisbane home

One of Queensland’s richest cattlemen, David Camm, has purchased Highgate, a historic $2.8 million home in the Brisbane suburb of Clayfield.

The home, at 117 Adelaide St, was built in 1920 and features six bedrooms, two bathrooms, a double garage, and a pool.

It sits of a 1,712 square metre block, and has 277 square metres of internal floor space over two floors.

Designed by renowned architect Richard Gailey, the home was formerly owned by Elizabeth Hart, who was the second woman to be admitted as a solicitor in Queensland.

David Camm, who heads the Camm Agricultural Group, has consistantly ranked on Queensland Rich Lists.

He owns at least 10 properties in the the sunshine state.

The median house price in Clayfield is $1.09 million, making it Brisbane's 10th most expensive suburb.
