The rich and stylish of the Philippines have a new luxury brand development to buy into.

Acqua Iguazu is the fifth building of a US$41.4 million six-tower development in Manila, but it is the first collaboration between Philippine developer Century Properties, London interior design outfit "Yoo inspired by Starck" and British real estate magnate John Hitchcox.

The top levels of the 56-floor tower will have an amenity deck designed by "Yoo inspired by Starck" and called the Cielo, which has a dining room, library, a movie room and fabulous pool.

There will be 400 apartments, ranging in size from a 26-square-metre pad to three-bedroom apartment over 115 square metres.

The average price is US $3,700 (A$3,560) a square metre. It is expected the property will realise US $85.5 million and US $365 million for the entire project. The development looks down on the Pasig river between Mandaluyong, a commercial city known for its shopping malls, and Makati, the business district of Manila.

Design features include a spherical accent crowning the tower, which references the sun and moon, and three show units themed as Minimal, Nature and Culture will be open for inspection from this week.

The launch of Iguazu follows the successful sales of Acqua's previous four towers; the Niagara, Sutherland, Dettifoss andAcqua Livingstone, with interiors by MissoniHome.
