Architect and botanist Patrick Blanc talks about the hanging gardens at One Central Park

Frasers Property Australia and Sekisui House Australia's new One Central Park development in Sydney will feature hanging gardens designed by French architect and botanist Patrick Blanc.

The garden will comprise 21 panels covering 1,120 square metres, and there are set to be 35,200 plants of 383 species used in the design. 

It is one of a growing number of vertical gardens in Australia and the world.

The project is well into its 28-month construction.
