A town-hall styled meeting as part of the Brisbane Writers Festival has been organised to discuss what a future Brisbane would look like.

The event, Brisbane 2050: Imagining our Future City, is being held at the Queensland State Library on Saturday 5th September 2015, between 6-8pm.

Andrew Gutteridge, principal of event parnter Arkhefield, will join a panel of experts including Bernard Salt; architect, author and journalist, Elizabeth Farrelly; and Griffith University Associate Professor, Geoff Woolcock.

He said Brisbane has enormous potential, and we want to engage the community in shaping our city’s future.

“It’s a prime opportunity for the people to have an open platform to talk about their vision for Brisbane and come together to create a city that we all want to live, work and play in,” he said.
