Nudgee is a suburb of Brisbane, located approximately 14 kilometers north of the CBD. The area was originally known as Petrie Paddock, and was used for grazing cattle and farming. In 1886, a railway line was built through the area, which spurred development and saw Nudgee become a popular destination for Brisbane residents looking for beachside holidays.
