Kensington is an inner suburb of Sydney, located 4 kilometers west of the CBD.
Originally a working-class area, it has undergone gentrification in recent years and is now home to young professionals and families. The suburb has a mix of residential, commercial and industrial areas.
There are several schools in Kensington, as well as a shopping center (Kensington Village) and a number of restaurants and cafes. The area is well served by public transport, with buses running to the CBD and other suburbs. Kensington is also close to the University of New South Wales.
