Currumbin is a suburb of the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. It is located on the southern side of the Nerang River and is surrounded by the suburbs of Elanora, Tallebudgera Valley, and Palm Beach. Currumbin has a population of 5,811 people according to the 2016 census.
The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Currumbin and it is home to many Australian animals including kangaroos, koalas, and wallabies. The sanctuary also features a nature park with walking tracks and a rainforest walk.
Currumbin Creek runs through the suburb and it is popular for fishing, swimming, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).
