Camberwell is a suburb of eastern Melbourne, Australia. It is located 10 km east of the Melbourne CBD, and is situated in the local government area of the City of Boroondara.
Camberwell is notable for its wide variety of Victorian architecture, including many examples of Art Deco and Federation-style homes. The main shopping strip on Burke Road is also one of Melbourne's longest and most diverse, featuring an array of specialty stores.
The suburb has several parks and gardens, and its railway station is an interchange between the Belgrave/Lilydale lines and the Alamein line. Several tram routes crisscross the suburb as well.
