Victorian Government announces suite of "Super Tuesday" approvals

The Victorian Government has declared today, Tuesday 25/02/14, "Super Tuesday" after the Planning Minister, Matthew Guy, has fast-tracked five residential projects for approval.

2000 apartments, half a billion dollars in total value and 4000 construction jobs are the numbers being touted in the Planning Minister's press release.

The projects which have been given approval are:

127-141 A'Beckett Street. 632 apartments, 63 levels, 196 metres high and a value of $132 million. This project is also known as EQ Tower, see our report on this project from last week.

464 Collins Street. 185 apartments, 55 levels, 181 metres high and a value of $100 million. See our previous planning application report.

398 Elizabeth Street. 466 apartments, 55 levels, 178 metres high and a value of $135 million. See our planning application report from September last year.

395 Docklands Drive. 360 apartments, 18 levels, 61 metres high and a value of $88 million.

420 Spencer Street. 438 apartments, 38 levels, 131 metres high and a value of $70 million.
