Construction has commenced on Windsor Park, one of the newest apartment developments in <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/windsor-vic">Melbourne's Windsor</a>.

The 33-apartment development at&nbsp;61-71 McIlwrick Street is a joint venture between developer Sinclair Brook and investment firm Wilbow Group, who are expecting residents to move into the Jackson Clements Burrows-designed building by mid-2024 after a 12-month build.

The building, which has interiors curated by Hecker Guthrie and sits in gardens by Eckersley Garden Architecture, has never to be built out views of <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/windsor-park-61-71-mcilwrick-street-windsor">Windsor Park</a>. It sits in an enviable pocket, boasting an international walk score of 95.

Prices start from $1.7 million for the three-bedroom apartments which have two bathrooms and two car spaces.

The aim of Windsor Park was to create a beautiful environment that enriches the urban fabric while evoking a profound sense of home. The development features a series of smaller buildings spread across three levels. Privacy was considered, with canopy landscaping enveloping each residence, connecting them organically to the adjacent parkland. There's a central courtyard which further enhances the park-like atmosphere.

A palette of&nbsp;concrete, warm metals, and neutral brick were used for the exterior of the building, while the interiors combine earth tones, concrete, and soft timber.

Construction commences on Sinclair Brook’s Windsor Park apartment development

Hawthorn is preparing to welcome its latest residential development in the upcoming months.

Compose will consists of 19 townhouses developed by Sinclair Brook Group, who have had Brompton Construction handle the build of the Glenferrie Road project.

Only one townhouse remains for sale in the development, with the three-bedroom home featuring a spacious courtyard that blends the lines between indoor and outdoor living.&nbsp;

Nestled between Burwood Road and Riversdale Road, the townhouses enjoy a prime spot just off Glenferrie Road, placing residents within proximity to an array of esteemed schools, shops, cafes, and transport links, including trams and trains.

The architects at Jackson Clements Burrows designed Compose, drawing on the heritage of Hawthorn. They feature a robust, red-brick base, complemented by charcoal steel accents, which imbue an industrial aesthetic while perforated screens add a layer of texture whilst fostering sustainable living.

JCB Associate Director Chris Manderson said Compose crafts a contemporary celebration of the Hawthorn home and garden.&nbsp;

"It is intrinsically of its place whilst a warm interpretation of aesthetic, patterns and materiality composes a new typology for terrace home living."

Internally, the homes feature&nbsp;Gaggenau cooking appliances, in addition to integrated Fisher &amp; Paykel fridges, along with polished concrete, timber, and carpet flooring.
