<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/arena-property-group">Arena Property</a> has been given the green light to proceed with its new <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/main-beach-qld-4217">Main Beach</a> apartment tower, Belle Vie.

The 28-level tower, on an amalgamated 1,010 sqm on Pacific Street, one row back from Main Beach parade, will comprise 72 apartments. It will replace an original walk-up unit block.

Bella Vie—a French term that translates to beautiful life—is Arena’s most ambitious project to date and represents a significant shift from their previous low-rise luxury offerings, including their recently completed&nbsp;<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/buildings/lana-bilinga-295-golden-four-drive-bilinga">Lana Bilinga development</a>.

Designed by <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/plus-architecture">Plus Architecture</a>, Belle Vie features two distinct vertical sections, elegantly separated by a full-floor amenities level on Level 18. This central amenity floor will offer residents a curated collection of luxury lifestyle spaces, including a residents’ lounge, games room, wine cellar, library, private dining space, and a sunset-viewing outdoor dining terrace.&nbsp;

Above the amenities level, Levels 19 to 27 are reserved for 14 expansive half-floor, three-bedroom apartments, further enhancing Bella Vie’s appeal to the owner-occupier market.&nbsp;

Belle Vie, new Main Beach apartment tower, greenlit

Boutique developer&nbsp;<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/arena-property-group">Arena Property</a> has filed plans for its largest tower to date.

Arena, the developer behind the luxury low-rise apartment development Lana Bilinga, is proposing a 28-level building in <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/main-beach-qld-4217">Main Beach</a>.

Plus Architecture has designed the tower, named Belle Vie—French for "beautiful life"—to feature two distinct sections, separated by an amenities level on the 18th floor. This facilities level includes a residents' lounge with a games area, a library, and various lounge spaces.

Adjacent to the lounge, is a wine cellar, a private dining room, and an outdoor sunset dining area. This level also offers a dedicated work-from-home space with a boardroom, as well as a 91 sqm gym that includes a Pilates studio, a sunrise yoga deck, and a functional training room.

The levels beneath 18 incorporate 56 quarter-floor, two-bedroom apartments, each with a study or multi-purpose room, while above level 18 are 14 half-floor, three-bed units.

There are two four-bedroom apartments, the three-level penthouses, each with a dedicated home office and its&nbsp;own 120 sqm plus rooftop with a pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, lawn, and firepit area.

There are more amenities on the top of the podium, in the form of a swimming pool with a spa and a wet deck, hot and cold plunges, and a sauna.

Plus said Bella Vie is situated in a pristine Main Beach location, on an amalgamted 1,010 sqm site at 47-49 Pacific Street, currently occupied by a three-level walk-up with 12 units.

The small Gold Coast suburb Currumbin is set for a rare new apartment development.

Arena Property Group, who are developing LANA in Bilinga, has been given the green light to create Kora, a boutique project of just seven apartments designed by Plus Architecture at 798-800 Pacific Parade.

Located on Currumbin’s famed beachside stretch, the four-storey development will be the first major multi-residential addition to the coastal suburb in a number of years, as well as Plus Architecture’s first project in the area.

Arena's Development Manager Ray Bachir said Kora's “quietly confident” design sets a new standard for architecture on Currumbin’s in-demand beach-side strip.

“When your objective is to make a visual impact without compromising the natural integrity of a site it all comes down to excellent design solutions, which Plus Architecture has certainly achieved in this project,” Bachir said.

“Kora is a new product for the area that will appeal to a broad demographic – it’s a great design that offers the iconic Gold Coast lifestyle of suburbs like Palm Beach, while still respecting the unique character and history of Currumbin.”

Plus Architecture Principal Chrisney Formosa said the overall design approach for Kora is organic and uplifting, complementing Currumbin’s picturesque beachside character and its nearby natural landmarks of Currumbin Hills and Elephant Rock.

“Designed with sensitivity to the site’s location and the Currumbin lifestyle, our objective was to design a luxury residential dwelling that seamlessly assimilates with the local built environment,” Formosa said.

“A selection of nature-inspired tones and textures emphasise Kora’s abundant natural light and sweeping panoramic views. These elements contribute to an elevated quality of life for residents and demonstrate our detail-oriented response to subtropical design ideals.”

Kora’s external design scheme features a mix of concrete, tinted glazing, bronze and glass balustrading, with the façade created from timber-look battens.

Plus Architecture has also paid homage to traditional ‘timber and tin’ beach shacks in the design, which grows out from a central timber spine and tapers off in a floating edge following an organic natural form.

The enviable beachfront enclave of Bilinga is heating up as a hotspot for developers.&nbsp;

As developers look to line the golden stretches of the Gold Coast and beyond, Bilinga has positioned itself as one of the most sought-after spots.&nbsp;

Located just moments from the bustling townships of Tugan and Coolangatta, Bilinga offers a retreat from the outside world while remaining connected to some of the best the Gold Coast has to offer.&nbsp;

Navini is located on the absolute beachfront, midway along Golden Four Drive, between Tugun and Kirra Beach.

It's not just buyers who are lining up to head to up to the Gold Coast, it's developers too.

The Sydney-based builder developer Arena Property Group, who have a long history of developing across the whole of Sydney, have just kicked off their first project on the Coast, making the move north for the lifestyle on offer.

"It was a bit of a change of direction but ultimately what has led us, and so many people particularly over the last few years, is the relaxed lifestyle the Gold Coast offers," Arena Property Group says.

"It has all the beauty, and the beaches, without the density or the busyness of the city."

Arena kicked off their Gold Coast development journey in Currumbin which has development approval. They've recently launched it's second project, LANA, in the quiet southern Gold Coast pocket Bilinga, just north of Coolangatta.

The 23-apartment absolute beachfront project on Golden Four Drive, Bilinga's best street, was designed by BDA who were inspired by the pure beauty of Bilinga.

"The coastal palette of vertical and horizontal timber-look louvres and a render finish to match the beach beyond will provide an elegant and timeless boutique residential development," BDA note.

There are nine three-bedroom apartments in the seven-level building, and 14 two-bedroom apartments, which start from $1.15 million.

The building is crowned by an infinity edge rooftop pool, and a level nine communal space aimed at working from home or socialising on the resident's terrace.

Arena Property Group says that Bilinga offers a family-friendly area, at an equally affordable price point.

"If you go north or south, you're not getting much change out of $4 million if you're looking for a true beachfront apartment," the company note.

"While Kirra, Rainbow Bay are high demand areas, there's no apartments on the beach. That is something Bilinga has, which is rare for the Gold Coast. We're not developing anymore beachfront land, so anything fronting the sand will always be sought-after"

Arena are hoping to get the go ahead for KORA, a collection of just seven apartments on Pacific Parade, facing Currumbin Beach.

The Arena team really wanted Currumbin to be the first spot the team developed in.

"We've always loved coming up for holidays to Currumbin.

"Gold Coast living is still very much preserved in Currumbin. Where other beach suburbs have become a bit of a concrete jungle, Currumbin has held onto what makes it special.

Arena knew the level of commitment to keeping the enclave that way, so he knew that there was going to be some resistance for a new development.

But there was a strong support from council for the project, which was designed by Plus Architecture to blend seamlessly into the current surrounds.

The town planning report suggested the&nbsp;architectural philosophy paid homage to the traditional ‘timber and tin’ beach shacks, evoking the relaxed sense of beachfront living, embracing high-quality, sub-tropical design which blends seamlessly into the beachside character of the site and its setting.
