The magnificence of the Royal Exhibition Building's internals were on show for all to see, that is if you like exceptional beer. The grand building hosted the Great Australian Beer SpecTAPular over the weekend, an event which brings 92 uniquely brewed beers from around the world together in this exceptional venue. Running over three days, the Great Australian Beer SpecTAPular afforded those who attended the change to peruse its magnificent interiors before getting into the business of tasting some innovative, quality beers.

For a complete synopsis of the Royal Exhibition Building see Peter Maltezos' piece regarding this World Heritage listed beauty. I feel it's testament to the hard work of event organisers and many volunteers that a venue of this calibre is made available for such a use.

The only negative - there's one more year until the next Great Australian Beer SpecTAPular. See below a selection of internal images taken during Friday evening.
