Greg Norman's Brookwater championship golf course in Springfield is set for a new neighbour, with multi-residential Queensland developer Azure set to developed a new terrace community next door.

The $72 million townhouse development, Oakmont by <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/azure">Azure</a>, will comprise 61 townhouses and will sit on the edge of the eighth hole of the course which Norman designed.

The&nbsp;<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/springfield-qld-4300">Springfield</a> project, in the smaller suburb of Brookwater in the City of Ipswich, will offer direct frontages and views over the golf course and beyond to the mountains.

Designed in collaboration with award-winning firm <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/plus-architecture">Plus Architects</a>, Oakmont by Azure will deliver four distinct terrace types that respond to the site’s sloping terrain with two and three-level configurations that allow views over the top of the terraces below and across to the golf course.

Each of the residences will either have three or four bedrooms, plus an additional multi-purpose room. All have 2.5 bathrooms and most two-car accommodation.&nbsp;

Oakmont by Azure has been crafted to embrace green spaces, with significant landscaped gardens and front entries, a communal amenity area and a central pedestrian link providing residents with opportunities for relaxation, recreation, and a strong sense of community.&nbsp;

Oakmont by Azure will be built by Azure's in-house construction arm <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/builders/azure-build">Azure Build</a>, which has delivered&nbsp;more than 1,000 residences to the South East Queensland market over the past decade.

Springfield set for new townhouse development as Oakmont by Azure gets green light

Brisbane developer Azure has broken ground on their sell-out Munro by Azure, the company’s first <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/ipswich-qld">Ipswich project</a>.

The 2.22-hectare development at 33 River Road in Bundamba will comprise&nbsp;100 terrace homes in an exclusive gated estate to meet unprecedented demand for Queensland’s fastest-growing city.

Construction of Munro has begun on on schedule following a rapid sell-out of the project, just weeks after its official launch in April this year.

Azure director Trent Keirnan says while Munro by Azure represents a creative approach to urban design and modern living space, the project also delivers on the company’s mission to enhance affordability amid an ongoing housing crisis.

“Munro represents truly affordable luxury that will contribute much-needed housing supply to Ipswich with a diversity of housing options in a city that is thriving with employment and business opportunities,” Keirnan said.

“We are especially proud that this collection of 100 terrace homes holds true to our focus on quality for all amid the current housing crisis, allowing us to enhance affordability so that more people can acquire a brand-new home.”

The townhouses, priced from $545,000 to $557,000, offer a combination of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and single-car garage plus a driveway parking facility.

The communal facilities are set across 1,500 sqm of open space which includes&nbsp;a 20-metre pool with cabanas and sun lounges, as well as a large lawn area for resident recreation.

After completion, Azure will maintain its ties to the property by overseeing the management of Munro, ensuring that all shared amenities are maintained to the highest standard.
