Perth has long had a problem with the size of apartments for downsizers.

That&#39;s the view of&nbsp;Abel Property sales agent Gethen Sullivan, who&#39;s&nbsp;been&nbsp;marketing off the plan and established apartments for the best part of two decades in Perth.

&quot;The overwhelming feedback from apartment buyers is that the internal size, and specifically the master bedrooms, are always too small,&quot; Sullivan suggests.

&quot;This is the case for the majority of developments in Perth.&quot;

Sullivan has recently started marketing apartments at 66 Jersey Street,&nbsp;a boutique Jolimont development&nbsp;near Subiaco, where the floor plates are around 50 per cent larger than any other two and three bedroom apartments on the market in Perth.

&quot;For me, after I studied the floor plans and strata plan for this project, it is something that I couldn&rsquo;t wait to be involved in selling,&quot; Sullivan says.

Designed by SPH Architects, the two bedroom apartments span 146 sqm and start from $755,000. The master bedroom is spread across 23 sqm alone.

The three bedroom apartments, which offer over 265 sqm, start from $1,375,000. They have a 30 sqm master suite.

Sullivan says the apartments are 100 per cent geared toward owner-occupiers.

&quot;They are largely aimed at people looking to downsize from a house to the security of an apartment, without sacrificing space,&quot; Sullivan says.

&quot;The developers of this project themselves are architects. They designed the floor plans to be something they themselves could/would live in.&quot;

The local construction firm Kastle are set to start the build later this year, with completion slated for Q3 2022.
