The Melbourne-based developer secured the high-profile 2500 sqm site at <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/como-toorak-2-bruce-street-toorak">2 Bruce St</a>, an amalgamation of multiple blocks, from AFR Rich Lister Larry Kestleman for a record $26 million in 2022.

This $120 million project will comprise only 17 apartments, including penthouses, immersed in garden foliage and terrace planters designed by Paul Bangay.

Como's entrance features large, artisanally made steel gates leading to an arrival lobby where a daytime concierge provides a hotel-like experience for residents and visitors.

The Melbourne businessman Christopher Shao has secured the recent sale of his luxury penthouse in Toorak’s 29 Washington Street complex.

It was reportedly sold for close to $15 million through Kay & Burton.

It was initially sold for $14 million in 2019.

Developed in 2018, the whole floor three bedroom apartment was designed by architect Stephen Jolson.

It came with initial $20 million hopes by the boutique developers Orchard Piper who had celebrity US agents the Altman Brothers lending their name to the marketing.

The 1000 square metre space boasts pool, yoga room, sauna, and 1300-bottle wine cellar.

One of six residences in the development, its occupies the entire third floor.

It comes with private four car garaging and its own lift.

On its initial sale the apartment almost doubled the prior $8.2 million record.

Record setting Toorak penthouse resells for close to $15 million

The Melbourne-based developer&nbsp;Orchard Piper has secured a rare development site fronting Fitzroy Gardens.

The 1,200 sqm site at 364-370 Albert Street, East Melbourne was an amalgamation of three adjoining park-front sites which had been held by the same family for over four decades.

A grand three storey Victorian townhouse will be restored and offered as a townhouse.&nbsp;There will be&nbsp;a further&nbsp;six residential levels comprising 14 apartments and two levels of private offices.

Each apartment will take in views of Melbourne&#39;s CBD or Fitzroy Gardens.

Orchard Piper&nbsp;have had their go-to architect Jolson Architects, who were behind the famous Pt Leo Estate down on the Mornington Peninsula, draw up the plans. It&#39;s the sixth collaboration&nbsp;between the two.

Orchard Piper director Luke McKie said the strategic site acquisition and planning permit represented a significant step forward for the brand, and the next phase of the Orchard Piper story.

&ldquo;We have been actively acquiring sites through COVID with a view to significantly bolstering our pipeline as we move into more substantial projects in Melbourne&rsquo;s best locations.&rdquo;
